Silver ring which is decorated with the characters Fu, Lu and Shou which are the names of the three Star Gods or ‘Sanxing’ (三星). They represent Prosperity (Fu), Status or Rank (Lu) and Longevity (Shou). On each side of the three characters is a depiction of the head of a Ruyi scepter (everything you wish for will come true). The ring dates from the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Inside diameter 1.27 cm. Width 0.6 cm.
