Chinese Export Silver serving tray with a swing handle. It comes in the shape of a lotus leaf and is marked on the bottom with the maker's name 'Lainchang' which is most probably misspelled and should be 'Lianchang'. This silversmith was active in Shanghai during the Republic period (1912- 1947) from about 1910 to 1940. Diameter 11.5 cm. Height including handle 11.5 cm. Weight 83 grams.
