Chinese Export Silver bowl decorated with two birds and chrysanthemum flowers. It is marked on the bottom with the initials WS for 'Woshing', a silversmith who was active in Shanghai from about 1870 to 1910. The bowl dates therefore from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912). Diameter 11.7 cm. Height 5.6 cm. Weight 173 grams.
