Two ornaments made in the shape of fish. Were these two fish once part of the same necklace? The bead 7410 seems to have been made of exactly the same material as these fish and it came from the same dealer in Amsterdam. But we have never seen a court necklace, Chao Zhu, with fish as finials. This remains a miracle still to be solved. The fish are made of Burmese jadeite (Fei tsui) and date from the late Qing period (1644 - 1912). They were, just as the bead, added to the collection in 1970.
