Interesting creature which has puzzled us for a long time. One side looks like a moth and the other side is shaped like an octopus. The wings of the moth are inlaid with tortoise shell and its eyes are inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The carving is very well done and the creature is signed with the name Xian Bu (仙步). But what the creature is supposed to depict remains a mystery to us. Length 4.2 cm. Width 3.9 cm. Height 2.2 cm.
