Large netsuke depicting an octopus with its tentacles hanging over the side of a basket. The octopus has eyes which are inlaid with a black material. The signature on the bottom reads Zongchuan (中川). Height 4.3 cm. Width 5.4 cm. Depth 4.9 cm.
