Small silver ring with the character ‘Xi’ (囍) which means Double Happiness and a depiction of a Cymbidium flower which symbolizes Friendship and Grandchildren. The ring is hallmarked with the name Yi Sheng (義升) who may have been the silversmith or the retailer. It dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Inside diameter 2.0 cm. Width 1.3 cm.
