Enameled silver pendant in the shape of a boat with two sailors. A boat (chuan) is a pun for ‘Pass’ (chuan) as in passing on a high position from one generation to another. In the middle of the boat is a canopy with sunshades but there is no passenger. The condition of this little gem is excellent. It dates from the late Qing period (1644 – 1912). Height 2.5 cm.
