Silver necklace and solid silver pendant shaped as a Flower Basket (Longevity & Abundance) with Peonies (Wealth & Honor). A charming little figure of a baby Boy (Many Sons) stands in the centre. Above him are a stylized head of a Ruyi scepter (As you wish) and an Osmanthus flower (Distinguished sons). Both sides of the pendant are the same. It dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length including necklace 26.5 cm. Pendant height 4.2 cm. Width 3.2 cm. Depth 0.8 cm.
