Silver hook which is decorated with a Peony flower symbolizing Wealth and Honor. Chinese clothing did not have pockets so hooks like this were often used to attach grooming sets or other items to the belt. It dates from the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Length 4.9 cm. Width 1.5 cm. Depth 1.9 cm.
