Miniature embossed and engraved silver crown decorated with the images of Deities on five different panels. Each Deity is sitting on a Lotus flower which makes us believe that the Buddha is depicted five times on this crown. This makes it a religious object which once graced the head of a statue to be worshipped, possibly Buddha himself. This detailed and wonderful object was made by Wan Fu (萬福) whose name is stamped on the side. Two fish dangle from side-chains and symbolize Abundance. The crown dates from the late Qing period (1644 – 1912). Height 6 cm. Width at the top 8 cm.
