Apron attachment rings – (8506)

Pair of embossed silver rings which were originally sewn to the top part of an apron. An apron chain (see Quick Find 2618) had hooks at each end which could be attached to these rings. Each one is decorated with a Basket (Longevity and Abundance) filled with Lingzhi fungus (Longevity). The rings date from the late Qing (1644 - 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947. Width 2.4 cm. Height 3.3 cm. Depth 0.3 cm.
