Small white metal lock with three attached small bells. There’s an identical text on both sides ‘Chu Ru Ping An’ (出入平安) which means ‘May you have a safe journey wherever you go’. On both sides of the text are depictions of bird-like creatures facing each other. The lock is not marked and dates from the Republic period (1912 – 1947). Width 3.8 cm. Height 2.7 cm. Depth 0.7 cm.
