Gilt silver two-pronged hairpin with very detailed depictions of flowers. The quality of this hairpin is really nice. It is marked with two names, Wen Gen (纹艮) and De Yi (得意) who may have been the silversmith and the retailer. On the back are two coins in openwork which symbolize Wealth. It dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Width 8.4 cm. Height 7.4 cm.
