Three-pronged silver hairpin decorated with a green jadeite (Fei tsui) inset depicting something which looks like a finger citron (Buddha’s hand) but we are not sure. A finger citron (Foshou) symbolizes Blessings (Fu) and Longevity (shou). We are not familiar with the other fruit, if it is a fruit at all. The jadeite has a minor crack. The hairpin dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). Total length 11 cm. Width 2.8 cm.
