Extremely fine silver charm chain which used to dangle from a long hairpin. The decoration consists of a Flower Basket (Longevity & Abundance) and a silver Japanese 10 sen coin. The use of Japanese silver money was not uncommon in China. The charm chain dates from the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). Length ca 20 cm. VERY RARE.
