Silver gilt hairpin decorated with a carnelian tip. We believe that a seed pearl once graced the end of the carnelian tip. The hairpin dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length 16.8 cm. Diameter carnelian 1.1 cm.
