Extremely fine silver charm chain which used to dangle from a long hairpin. The decoration is inlaid with feathers from the Kingfisher bird but some of it is missing now. Depicted are a Basket (Longevity & Abundance), flowers and two fruits of which one is a Peach (Long Life) and the other one a Pumpkin (Fertility). The flower at the bottom is a chrysanthemum (Longevity) and we assume that the other flower is a lotus (Continuous Harmony). The charm chain dates from the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). Length ca 17 cm. VERY RARE.
