Hairpin with ‘shou’ symbols – (8661)
[8661]

Very small silver spoon-shaped hairpin decorated with two ‘shou’ characters which stand for Longevity. There are two marks on the back which are however so crude that we can’t decipher them. The workmanship is rather simple. It dates from the end of the Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length 6.2 cm. Width 0.9 cm.
