Very petite silver pendant consisting of a Lotus shoe (Woman’s shoe) which symbolizes ‘Together in Harmony’, a Lock (Protection against evil spirits) and a Peach (Longevity). The pendant served apparently as an amulet and dates from the late Qing (1644 – 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length including chain 3.2 cm.
