Silver amulet in the shape of a coin engraved with peony petals on one side The peony is known as the flower of Wealth and Honour and blossoming peonies (Fu Gui Hua) are supposed to bring Prosperity (Fu Gui Hua Kai). The coin shape of this amulet of course refers to Wealth. The characters ‘Yi Zheng Tian Xia’ (一正天下) mean ‘Positive world’. We are not exactly sure how this is meant. This amulet dates from the end of the Qing period (1644 – 1912) or early Republic period (1912 -1947). Diameter 3.3 cm. Depth 0.1 cm.
