Pipe made from a twisted root of a tree. It has a metal tube inserted in the top which prevents the smoldering tobacco from damaging the wood. The mouth piece is made of brass. It is interesting to see how the maker managed to create a smoke channel inside this curved and twisted stem which dates from the end of the Qing (1644 - 1912) to the early Republic period (1912 – 1947). Length 18.4 cm. Diameter at its widest point 5.4 cm.
