Boxwood toggle carved in the shape of a large and a small lotus seedpod. The seeds of the large pod move but cannot be taken out. A small frog sits on the side of the large pod. A Lotus seedpod symbolizes Fertility. The toggle has a nice patina and dates from the Qing period (1644 – 1912). Length 5.6 cm. Width 4.2 cm.
