Two very small porcelain vases covered in a glaze which is called ‘tea dust’ in China. Both vases came from a private collection according to the dealer who sold them to us. We do not believe that they are very old and perhaps date from the late Republic period (1912 – 1947) or even later but nevertheless they are pleasing to the eye. Dimensions of the left vase: Height 8 cm. Diameter vase 4.8 cm. Diameter of the foot ring 3.1 cm. Dimensions of the right vase: Height 8.6 cm. Diameter vase 5.2 cm. Diameter of the foot ring 3.1 cm. These miniatures are in Shanghai
