Porcelain candle stand decorated in blue and white with four characters ‘tang, gong, you, yu’ which means ‘receive friends at home’. Also depicted on its side is bamboo which symbolizes Humility and Fidelity as well as Peace. The candle stand is completely solid. It shows signs of use but is still in good condition. It dates from the 19th century. Diameter 7.4 cm. Height 6.8 cm.
