Buffalo horn seal inscribed with a very long text in the tiniest of characters. The border is decorated with figures and houses. We have not been able to find out what the text means. Cockroaches had a go at it, leaving gnaw-marks on its corners. The seal dates from the Qing period (1644 – 1912) and was acquired in Hong Kong in 1994. Height 4.3 cm. Width 5.7 cm. Depth 3.4 cm.
