Small gilt bronze belt hook which once belonged to a nomad of Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, called Ordos. It is decorated with a coiling feline creature. The gilding is partly rubbed. The belt hook dates from the Han period (206 BC – 220 AD). Length 6.8 cm.
